a mutant bouquet is made like this...
first, through a sleepy lose association i connect a picture i found of derelict miniature pink architecture with the wilting of a pink carnation in my garden. i put them together and 'fix' the otherwise fleeting combination with a camera click, photograph. and then begins the process of printing and duplicating and mutating this single event/association. and now im left with a mutant bouquet:
