Orbuculum Meditations

Two found objects combine: 1) ornamental cats 2)fragment of dog ball? or Ovum

Meditations on object.

Exerts from ongoing game:
25/1/19
Today I am out exploring with explicit intention of elaborating the separation game. The woman serving me coffee I notice has a small red apple tattoo behind her left ear. It takes all my effort to not get caught up in fantasizing about a united group of women whose insignia is the ancestral sinning apple. She is one of ‘them’ I think.

I venture differently today in so far as of recent I learnt that the ovum is awakening from a sleepy stasis, that it is now thought to be just as active and conspiring in the processes of re-production. But it’s activity is different from the spermatozoa. After noticing the ovum's appearance in my recent paintings I felt impelled to watch a crude biology video. Although it appears that the egg sits fairly still it is in constant dialogue with its environment. So today I do not travel in the direct competitive head of a spermatozoa spaceship but instead in the collective and conspiring labyrinth of the uterine. I alternative between a cluster of various positions, locations, locutions. Like bouncing and refracted light. It is in this sense I now know that the sparkling of glitter is conversational. And whispers amongst the girls is telepathic beaming.

In fact it did not take much time to transition from that sleepy sexed metaphor. Excessive literalism being my sometimes interesting error, I had only of recent imitated the passive ovum via meditative coitus.  It did not take long before the event transformed me into a remora covered shark. You promised I would lose myself, but here I am a shark. David Attenborough’s pornographic stage in an odd way conceives of me as nature and nature as innocent and so the red
apple tattoo is a neat little mottle spot and I can rest. OR… the leopard’s mottles are a cloak of ancestral sinning insignias and we have left his stage. Where are we now?

Today I end up at the coast. I find here a piece of ovum and feel it my duty given I am not a spermatozoa today but in fact this objects co-conspirator, to elaborate the environment of the object since it is not one. To spin web around it. So I take it for now in preparation for its eventual release.
